Solarium Suite

Our Solarium Suite suite provides luxury accommodations for two guests. The suite includes a full sitting parlor, sleeping alcove, private gallery and ensuite bath.

A large sitting room features a comfortable Nubuck leather sofa, chair and ottoman and upholstered wingback recliner. Additional furnishings include a large media-center armoire, antique travel trunk “coffee table”, and small secretary writing desk. The parlor includes ceiling fan and a flat panel TV with DVD player with digital satellite signal. One of three large windows opens onto the private gallery overlooking historic Esplanade Avenue. The gallery features a swing and cast iron table and chairs which invite you to pass the time, the New Orleans way!

To one side of the parlor, a six-sided sleeping alcove cradles a beautiful antiqued-white metal queen bed with pillow-top mattress. Large windows on five of the six sides allow light to filter in from sunrise to sunset. Of course, you can always draw the draperies closed before bedtime if you’d rather not see the crack of dawn!

To the other side of the parlor, your elegant private bath awaits you. A crystal chandelier hangs over the antique claw-foot tub providing the bath with an old world ambiance. The bath’s location near the suite’s entrance off the main hallway provides convenient access to other members of your party when you have added rooms to form a multi-room suite. Cotton Chadsworth & Haig waffle bathrobes and slippers are provided for your use during your stay as well as luxurious towels from the Turkish Towel Company, high-quality Comphy bed linens and Aromae-brand botanical bath amenities. Each room is also equipped with hairdryer, iron & board, room safe, and smoke alarm.

Rates for the Solarium Suite

Generally between $185-$295, though rates may be outside of this range under special circumstances.
Taxes and fees are estimated at the time of booking, but will be applied at the rate in effect during your stay.

Multi-room Options including the Solarium Suite

Suite-Deluxe 2-bedroom, 1-bath option on our Online Availability Calendar
The Solarium Suite may be rented along with the Bride’s Room to form a deluxe two-bedroom, one-bath suite that can accommodate up to four guests. Each bedroom has one queen bed and the Solarium Suite has the added benefit of a full living room and private gallery overlooking historic Esplanade Avenue below. Guests use the Solarium’s bath, featuring a standard 5-foot antique claw-foot tub with shower. A roll-away bed may also be placed into either of these rooms with payment of one-time setup fee. If the roll-away is used to accommodate a fifth guest, the setup fee is waived and a nightly additional guest fee is charged instead.

The Groom’s Room may be rented in conjunction with both the Solarium Suite and the Bride’s Room to create a premium three-bedroom, two-bath suite that can accommodate up to six guests. Each of the three bedrooms has one queen bed and the two baths each have an antique claw-foot tub with shower. The Solarium Suite has the added benefit of a full living room and private gallery overlooking historic Esplanade Avenue below. A roll-away bed may also be placed into any of these rooms with payment of one-time setup fee. If the roll-away is used to accommodate a seventh guest, the setup fee is waived and a nightly additional guest fee is charged instead.
